My goal is to create metal sculpture that stimulates
thought, emotion and joy! I frequently begin with found objects,
demonstrating that recycled items can become works of art. I work
primarily in mild steel – stainless and aluminum – and also utilize
copper, bronze, corten, concrete, bone, glass, stone, plastic and
wood. I am profoundly influenced by the natural world. Therefore,
the biomorphic lines found in nature, tempered with more geometric
shapes, are evident in my work. |
